Aerodynamics

This page is souly devoted to AERODYNAMICS. This is a part of a Pysical Science project conducted by Dr. Brown. This is a page of relating links that have to do with the topice at hand. We will show you all sorts of aerodynamics ideas in the pictures below. The links listed at the bottom are manly car companys and car customisers. The pictures shown are of real and ordinary cars found in any general neighborhood.

Links

PROS: Wide axel base allows for optimim stability and steering, curved mirrors for least wind resistance. Eith wider tires for better control and optimim road coverage.

CONS: It has a a very blocked off body design. But it is very tall and wide and it could be very easily over turned in a heavy wind storm. And once you really get going like on the freeway it has a tedency to catch the wind coming toward the van.

PROS: This is an optimim performance car it is very low to the ground whichaccounts for is ability for turns and least wind resistance. It also has curved mirrors and a slanted rear mirror if you look closly it also has optimum exaust pipes.

CONS: It has places where it can conceal air pockets and just sit their and some what creat a dragging feeling of lopsiddedness. It is hard to tell but the car is reasonably small and even though the bottom of the car itself isn't all that low to the ground the whole car isn't very tall and that could take part in some problems in handling such as it can't take head winds really easily.

PROS: The truck it self has no real appearent aerodynamic qualities probably because it was made in 1993 and the car producers were not too concerened with aerodynamics but does have airdirectores on the hood so at high speeds (75 mph or more) it will direct the wind off to the sides instead of over to top.

CONS: It does not have curved mirrors so the wind will sometimes catch on that and will make the mirrors rattle or vibrate,It also has a sharply up rising wind sheild.
